Hello, My name is Kylie Hicks, and I am 16 teen years old. I live in Twin Falls, Idaho. I have trying to raise awareness to my communtity. I have done "day of silence", for gay rights, and tried to do events about human rights, bullying, child abuse, and depression. I am the creator or, "be yourself" on facebook. I want to hold a all nighter walk at my high school, Twin Falls High. I want to show the people in my town how serious this really is. I am so passionate about this cause because I am, a survior of depression, and I have been in the darkness. I never want to feel so much pain, I never want to try to kill myself ever again. No one knows this about me. I want to help all the abused, depressed, confused, gay, straight, and hurt kids in my community, please help make this happen. Kylie, I read your story and I am amazed how wise you are at 16. Let it be know that those that kill themselves are out of pain but for the ones left behind trying to figure out why will live with that loss forever and ever. Thank you and best of luck on your mission. Never give up hope. For when you do your are surly doomed to go into the darkness again, but may not be lucky enough to come back.
